ferry building

I never seem to get tired of the ferry building. It’s on the other side of town for me, but I love visiting this place on Saturdays; their farmer’s market on a warm, summer day is a treasure chest of awesome food vendors, organic produce, and just all around good food. And besides, if you like people watching, this is a good spot to grab something to munch on, to sit on a bench, and to stalk people.

After our little photo mission at the ferry building, we ended up at Creations Dessert House. It was pretty chilly outside, so holding a warm cup of tea was quite indulging. I had the sago in mango and coconut milk drink and it was tasty. I’ve been here a few times and although the dessert and snacks are great; the service is sub-par.

And then we had a dinner at Tyler Florence’s Wayfare Tavern in the Financial District. I absolutely love their popovers. I had the steak frites, and it was okay, but the bone marrow appetizer was delicious!
